Grapico Ice Cream

Ice Cream

Ingredients:

One can of Eagle Brand milk
One can of Pet milk
2 liter Grapico soft drink

Directions:

Pour milk into ice cream freezer canister,
Decarbonate* and pour contents of 2 liter Grapico into ice cream canister, be sure not to fill past the fill line.

*Note: To decarbonate Grapico, pour small amounts of Grapico into a blender and run for a few minutes. Be careful not to overfill the blender, about half way only, because the Grapico will foam out.

A simple but refreshing treat you might want to try out for your self.
You might also want to try this simple method with other soft drinks as well!
You never know, it might be a real "hit" on a hot summers day.

Another idea.... instead of grapico ice cream, try making a sorbet or a granita, just remember to decarbonate the soft drinks as Cheryl suggested.

Granitas are really simple to make, if you would like to make a simple Grapico granita all you have to do is decarbonate and pour into a suitable container and freeze. Remember to "scrape" the ice as it freezes so you get the big course crystals that's associated with granitas. Enjoy!
