I just felt that I had to share this sweet recipe with you.
Have you ever tasted a Meringue?
I usually serve them with dessert, my kids love them as "snacks" and also with ice cream. This recipe is really easy and even though they are sweet, they do not contain a lot of calories (about 50kj or 10kcal for 1). So you don't have to feel guilty about eating a few of them.

Ingredients

3 egg whites
200 ml sugar
You can add colouring (just a few drops) or cocoa powder (3 tablespoons) or even cinnamon (1 teaspoon).

Preheat oven to 100 C (very cool). Whisk the eggs (stiff) and add the sugar a little at a time, add the cocoa powder, colouring or cinnamon if you like (you don't need to).
Put the mixture into a piping bag and pipe out onto a baking tray. Sprinkle with chocolate, coconut, or anything you like. Bake in a cool oven for approx. 1 hour. When cool keep them in an airtight container.

One more thing I have to share with you! I am one of those people that always has to watch my weight, but I really hate being on a diet....you know always having to say no and suffering, because you feel deprived, well I discovered a "program" that isn't about dieting. Yeah I know what your thinking...but just check it out, this man is well known, he's the host of the TV show The Energy Factor and mentor to top models in the US and Europe...so he actually knows what he's talking about, but don't take my word for it check him out Right Here!
