Ever Thought of Making
Peach Ice Cream?

Peach Ice Cream

Tastes heavenly!

Have you ever thought of making peach ice cream?
I just love the delicate aroma and velvety skin of fresh peaches.

Go ahead and "bite" into this sweet and juicy ice cream recipe, it really does taste heavenly!

Ingredients:

1 pound (500 grams) peaches
½ cup (125 ml) heavy (full) cream
½ cup (125 ml)whole milk
¼ cup (75 ml) sugar
½ vanilla bean

Pour boiling water over the peaches, let them soak for about 30 seconds. Rinse them under cold water, peel and stone them.
Puree the peaches in a blender (food processor) add the sugar and the seeds from the vanilla bean and mix. Pour in the milk and cream and mix again for a few minutes.
Transfer the mixture to the ice cream maker and follow the instructions for your machine.

If you don't have an ice cream maker, I would suggest that you whip the cream and blend it into the mixture before you transfer it to a suitable container and freeze.
After about 2 hours remove from the freezer and whisk it. Return to the freezer for another hour and repeat. Do this another 2 or 3 times every hour to prevent ice crystals from forming.

If you thought that making peach ice cream was fun, you might want to try another ice cream recipe. Or if your looking for something that's a little "lighter", you might want to try a sorbet recipe.
