Recipe for Simple Syrup!

Simple and Delightful!

Try this recipe for simple syrup with freshly squeezed oranges. It gives your dessert a fruity and juicy touch.
You can of course buy orange juice to use for this recipe, but you really can't beat the taste of fresh oranges!

oranges

Ingredients:

3½ oz (100 grams) sugar (I use cane sugar for this recipe, it doesn't sweeten as much as caster sugar, so if you are using regular sugar you might want to hold back a little so it doesn't become too sweet).
1¼ cup (300 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice

Caramelize the sugar in a small saucepan. Add the orange juice stir constantly until all the sugar has dissolved and the juice slightly thickens. Remove from the heat and cool completely. You can store it in the refrigerator for about a week.

Search for a sorbet that suits the taste of your recipe for simple syrup.
A tasty sorbet with fruit crisps and syrup is a real treat and you don't after wait until after dinner.
Don't forget! Don't just eat, enjoy and have fun.
