Tasty Redcurrant Sauce!



Redcurrant sauce

Simple but Delightful!

This redcurrant sauce is just so simple to make. A truly delightful recipe that most certainly will enhance the taste of your sweet treat.
Do you like raspberries? You could make a redcurrant and raspberry sauce for your dessert. Just replace half of the red currants with raspberries.
Make the most of your red currants, try a redcurrant sorbet, a redcurrant ice cream or even a redcurrant syrup.




Ingredients:

7 oz (200 ml) red currants
3 oz (100 ml) sugar
1 tablespoon of water

Method:

First puree the red currants. Then combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
This sauce can be served warm or cold.
